strtolower

説明

string をアルファベット部分を すべて小文字にして返します｡

「アルファベット部分」は現在のロケールにより決定されます。 このため、たとえばデフォルトの "C" ロケールである場合は、 ウムラウトA (Ä) のような文字は変換されません。

$str = "Mary Had A Little Lamb and She LOVED It So";
$str = strtolower($str);	
print $str; # 「mary had a little lamb and she loved it so」を出力します。
