Scroll bar visibility

Scroll bars appear at the right and bottom of the widget if visible. They are used to reveal portions of the widget not currently visible. The vertical scroll bar departs somewhat from traditional scroll bars by actually moving the selection bar.

FLVS_NONE

No scroll bars will be/are visible. This will override AUTOMATIC and ALWAYS.

FLVS_HORIZONTAL

Only the Horizontal scroll bar will be/is visible. Use AUTOMATIC and ALWAYS to determine when this scroll bar will be visible. The default is AUTOMATIC. This is equivalent to (FLVS_HORIZONTAL | FLVS_AUTOMATIC).

FLVS_VERTICAL

Only the Vertical scroll bar will be/is visible. Use AUTOMATIC and ALWAYS to determine when this scroll bar will be visible. The default is AUTOMATIC. This is equivalent to (FLVS_VETICAL | FLVS_AUTOMATIC).

FLVS_BOTH

Both the Horizontal and Vertical scroll bars will be/are visible. Use AUTOMATIC and ALWAYS to determine when these scroll bars will be visible. The default is AUTOMATIC. This is equivalent to (FLVS_BOTH | FLVS_AUTOMATIC) or (FLVS_HORIZONTAL | FLVS_VERTICAL | FLVS_AUTOMATIC).

FLVS_AUTOMATIC

The scroll bars are visible only when needed. Scroll bars are needed whenever a portion of the widget would be obscured. This is the default and is optional. For this to work you must also specify at least one of FLVS_HORIZONTAL, FLVS_VERTICAL, or FLVS_BOTH.

FLVS_ALWAYS

The scroll bars are always visible. For this to work you must also specify which scroll bar(s) will always be visible by or'ing at least one of: FLVS_HORIZONTAL, FLVS_VERTICAL, or FLVS_BOTH.

FLVS_HORIZONTAL_ALWAYS

The horizontal scroll bar will be/is always on. This is equivalent to (FLVS_HORIZONTAL | FLVS_ALWAYS).

FLVS_VERTICAL_ALWAYS

The vertical scroll bar will be/is always on. This is equivalent to (FLVS_VERTICAL | FLVS_ALWAYS).

FLVS_BOTH_ALWAYS

The horizontal and vertical scroll bars will be/are always on. This is equivalent to (FLVS_BOTH | FLVS_ALWAYS).
